Ames 1855 heavy cavalry "wristbreaker" - well stamped, fully inspected ricasso with date and manufacturer's name.  Also US markings and inspector's initials on ricasso and drag of scabbard.  The scabbard is worn on the drag, but still in exceptional condition, as is the saber's blade.  The saber's leather wrap and wire are original.  $2,699

This unique, one of a kind Emerson & Silver, dated 1864 has the name (or initials) RON tapped, one dot at a time, on one side of the scabbard's drag, and the letter K on the reverse.  The blade is clean, the scabbard is very attractive, properly inspected, original wire and grip.  $1,850
 
 

1864 Light Cavalry. This is a good example of an Ames 1864 Light Cavalry sword.  The stamps are plainly visible.  Original wire and leather wrap.  Overall nice condition.
