Vintage Citrine Ring with Diamonds

Great for every day wear is a nice elongated oval cut citrine, measuring 14 x 9 millimeters in size, weighing approximately 5.75 carats. The color is extremely rich, almost qualifying for almadine citrine. Tiny diamonds flank the side of the stone. The ring is currently a size 7, but can easily be resized. Inside the band are two distinct markings, number 44631 and 750, which indicates 18 kt. yellow gold. This vintage ring was definitely worn and shows slight abrasions on the top which are not visual with the naked eye but under a 10x loop. These do not affect the ring’s appearance. Ask for item # 1030, priced at $445.

Late Victorian Opal & Diamond Ring

A stunning fire opal ring surrounded by European cut diamonds set in 14 kt. yellow gold. The opal is one of the largest I’ve seen from this time period a has a lot of gorgeous color in it.  The opal itiself is almost an inch long and half an inch wide. There are no scratches or nick with the naked eye, but slight indications of its age can be seen under a 10 power loop. This does not detract from its appearance in any way. This beautiful antique ring dates from 1885-1910. All the diamonds around the fire opal appear to be original, having the same European cut and they match color-wise. The ring is a size 7 but can easily be sized up or down. Ask for item #1029, $1,695.

Bohemian Garnet Necklace!

For anyone who enjoys garnets, especially cabachon cut ones from the Victorian era, here’s your chance to own a special piece of antique jewelry. As you can see from the photos, the garnets are about the size of a quarter, oval shaped and enhanced by the gold filled chain with rose cut stones. Based on what I see on the back, I believe the oval garnets are set in vermeil and the remaining portion of the necklace was added or replaced at a later date (perhaps the original chain broke). The chain measures 20 inches long, plus the garnets add another three inches. This is a unique, one of a kind Victorian piece of jewelry. Item #1014, $1,295
