Felt and ostrich feather riding bonnet just screams Bonnie Blue Butler! In perfect condition, it could be worn with any Civil War era riding habit. Pictures do not do it justice. The Victorians had an accessory for everything and this antique hat is no exception.

Beautiful Victorian lace fan from the Civil War era. Hand painted scene and comes with the original cardboard box. The perfect accessory for the reenactor, living historian or fan collector. AF#1101

Quality was meant to last, as seen in this late Victorian hair clip. We bought this antique in the U.K. and it tests as .800 silver (sterling silver is 925). Incredible workmanship not found today! # 407

A beautiful mother-of-pearl coin purse lined with silk to hold coins or a folded bill. Easily fits into a Victorian reticule or inside the palm of a woman’s hand. Inv. # P1101 – SORRY, SOLD ON 10/23/11

Exquisite tortoise shell fan made from pheasant or grouse feathers is in perfect condition, measures 8.5 inches fully extended, folds down and hooks shut to about 4.5 inches in length. I believe this fan is early Victorian, circa 1830-1845, but I’m not a fan expert. One opinion is the fan is possibly Regency period.  – SOLD!!

Here’s a true Victorian tear vial in the shape of an urn, made from mother-of-pearl with a brass frame. The condition of this item is superb, as it still has the original cork stopper to seal in the mourner’s tears. A rare piece of history! – SOLD
