We’re back from two of our favorite shows – The Baltimore Antique and Jewelry show and Brimfield – the show of shows!
Weather, specifically the heat, was a bit of an issue at Brimfield this year, but we found some wonderful treasures.
Jay found a terrific Colt pistol – check it out under the weapons category or click/tap the picture above.
I bought too many pieces to mention here but check out the Art Deco and Edwardian categories. I will be loading new items almost every day for the next week, including Victorian pieces.
Without a doubt, the most stunning ring I ever had is listed under the Edwardian category. I had an appraisal done of this one just so the lucky lady who gets it knows exactly the quality of her new treasure. The European cut stones in this cluster ring are the brightest and clearest I’ve ever seen. Typical of the era, the diamonds are set in 18 kt. white gold and the band is 18 kt. yellow gold. Remember the Edwardians were the first ones to mix metals like this. The pictures don’t do this ring justice!
So if any of you are in the area, remember we’ll be setting up at the Gettysburg Autumn Show at the Eisenhower Conference Center the last weekend of October. Come enjoy the fall colors and visit this terrific show.
As I load more pieces this week, I’ll add posts directing folks as to where to look.
